Detox Serum

Detox serum and A-Night serum are completely different in composition and action, while they have in common that there are no morning/evening restrictions for their use, and you can combine them in the same routine!

• Detox serum hydrates and refreshes skin pores, and with regular use helps with hyperpigmentation spots and reduces the visibility of acne scars and pimples. Its effectiveness lies in the combination of two powerful active ingredients, vitamin C and niacinamide, which are enriched with the natural antioxidants of grape seed oil and pomegranate. We use Detox Serum if we want to smooth the skin, reduce visibility and the new appearance of skin irregularities such as spots and pimples. Think of it as a liter of squeezed fruit smoothie, which when you drink, you immediately feel freshness and energy for the day! And so are your skin cells, bathed in the vitamins of the Detox Serum.
• A-Night serum contains nutrients, hydrates and restores the damaged skin barrier. We use it if we want to achieve and maintain a youthful appearance by stimulating the natural processes of skin cell regeneration. This nourishing effect is thanks to wheat germ, whose oil is rich in natural vitamin A, which breaks down into retinol molecules when it comes into contact with the skin. The result of regular use is natural anti-aging, strengthened skin barrier, and reduced hypersensitivity. Especially useful for skin that cannot tolerate strong active ingredients or essential oils.

The serum is best used after washing with a gentle gel cleanser. It is recommended to apply the serum to still damp, previously cleansed skin. After absorption, the serum can be used with other Makris products.

Depending on the surface of the skin you are treating, the facial skin only needs a few drops for complete spreading and quick absorption.

You can add the serum to your skin care routine in the morning or in the evening.

The serum can be used alone in the morning or evening routine, but if you want more visible results, the serum is combined with the Immortelle cream in an alternating skin care routine. For example, if you use the Immortelle cream in the morning, you use the Detox serum in the evening, and vice versa. You can use the serum in the morning before the SPF cream, and in the evening, after thoroughly removing make-up or the SPF protective factor – Immortelle cream. For people whose skin is used to combining products, Detox serum, and Immortelle cream can be applied together.

Niacinamide is a type of vitamin B3. Its molecules are key to various processes that take place in our skin cells, especially when it comes to renewal. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is therefore used to treat various skin problems, and is recommended for those with sensitive skin. Bearing in mind that it is an antioxidant, there are studies linking it to the prevention of skin cancer.

The body’s increased need for vitamin C occurs with various inflammations, stress, smokers, etc. Vitamin C refreshes the skin, removes signs of fatigue and restores its natural glow, reduces pigmentation and spots that appear on the skin over the years. It evens out its tone and is one of the strongest stimulators that contributes to the strengthening and creation of natural collagen in the skin. We use a stabilized form of vitamin C (a-ascorbic acid), which prevents acidity and irritation.

The effect that you can notice immediately after use is a refreshed appearance of the face, hydrated and elastic skin.
